Where it all began.....
I’ve been a big fan of natural skincare products for many years, it started through a conversation with a friend, and snowballed from there. All of a sudden I was reading labels and researching things like parabens, phthalates, sulphates and other unusual words which I had no idea of their meaning or their origin.
And I realised, I didn’t want them on my skin let alone my children’s.
Fast forward a few years and all of a sudden, my gorgeous 12 year old boy woke up one morning a metre taller and smelling like a.......teenager?
After spending much time, energy and money I still couldn't find a natural deodorant sensitive enough for my son that actually worked.
So I started to think about making my own. A lot of research later and after many failed attempts, I finally found a perfect mixture that was gentle enough on his skin and also masked that “teenager smell” all day long.
Where does Hemp Oil come into it?
I’ve always been a huge fan of Hemp Oil, it was one of the first supplements I used after reading an article on its benefits.
When I started making deodorant I knew I wanted to incorporate Hemp Oil, knowing the topical benefits it has, it is the perfect base to use.
Did you know that Hemp oil is touted as one of the worlds healthiest oils?
It has many topical benefits....
Hemp Oil dramatically decreases dryness, alleviates itching and irritation and has high anti-inflammatory properties.
Hemp Oil is perfect for all skin types, including acne prone skin, because it can help moisturise without clogging pores.
It can also help regulate oil production while providing optimal hydration.
The powerful anti-inflammatory effects of omega 6 fatty acid, and GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) found in Hemp Oil, help soothe the skin and encourage new skin growth and cell regeneration.
Hemp Oil is also proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
But we don’t just use Hemp Oil! We have combined Hemp with lots of other incredible oils in different products, to give you the most nourishing and healing skincare experience possible
